Good Morning St George's!
It still feels a bit too early to put my winter coat in storage but I am feeling energised by many of the signs that spring is in fact here. (I love that the sidewalks are mostly clear of ice and snow, I don't love that my eyes and sinuses are full of allergy symptoms!) Another sign of spring is that we're moving towards Holy Week. I've made a separate post to help ensure you have all the information you need to fully engage in this important time in the church year. You can access that by clicking here.
Holy Week invites us to move through a wide range of emotions as we remember the joy of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the agony of his death, the grief, guilt and confusion of the disciples and then the surprise and celebration of his resurrection. I hope you will join us as we walk this road together and that you'll also set some time aside for your own personal reflection and traditions during this season. It's a rich time and it's worth soaking up as much as you can of it.
Peace to you,
Rachel
