Good morning St George's,

I'm writing this after several days of Zoom meetings and while they were good, I am tired. I hope you have found ways to rest and recharge this past weekend!  Thank you to Dan, Beverly, Tom and everyone who participated in yesterday's service. 

This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and we're trying something new.  Our service will be live on our YouTube channel and you can find all the information you need, including a downloadable liturgy by clicking here.

I'm trusting that all will go well but if technology fails, don't panic. I will post a note in the news section of our website as soon as I can and then record and upload the service.   

The gospel reading for this coming Sunday is the story of Jesus' temptation in the wilderness.  We'll be digging into that story and asking the question, "Why are names so important?"  This service will be available on Sunday on our YouTube channel and if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to go there and click "subscribe."
