Good Morning St George's,
I hope you have found some joy-filled ways to spend this long weekend. After a stretch of cold and rainy weather it is beginning to feel like spring may finally be here. I wonder if any of you planted a garden over the weekend or if you're holding out for a longer stretch of warm weather.
Yesterday's service can be found in the Service Tab of the website or directly on YouTube. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to lead the service!
We're beginning to look ahead to the fall and put some events on the church calendar, you can read more about that by clicking here. I hope you'll mark the dates and plan to participate. In particular, please note that in preparation for the fall storytelling event we are beginning to collect stories about St George's. Do you have a memory or story to share about your time at St George's? Please contact us and let us know. We're looking for stories in all sorts of formats: written, shared in person at the event, and pre-recorded.
And in community news, Transcona Memorial United (209 Yale Avenue) is having a Book and Rummage Sale next weekend. May 28, 9am-12pm. Coffee and Muffins available for purchase.
Peace to you all,
Rachel
