Good morning St George's,
Yesterday we celebrated the Feast of Christ the King and the end of the liturgical year in a service that included a renewal of our baptismal vows. You can view yesterday's service in the Service Tab of the website or directly on YouTube. You can read a copy of my sermon by clicking here.
The end of one year means the beginning of a new one. Advent begins this coming Sunday and if you're looking for ways to mark the season you can click here to learn more.
As we move towards the end of the calendar year, we have a lot of things on the go in the parish. After the service this coming Sunday we have an important parish meeting that we hope to have as many of you attending as possible.
Our Bake Sale has also sold out so we need folks to roll up their sleeves and get baking. Click here for information on dates and times to drop off baking.
And we have a number of special services, including a Blue Christmas service, in the month of December. You can find more information about these and all our other events by going to the Events Page of the website.
Peace to you all,
Rachel
